Why Miami
Beach clubs, boat days and a night scene that starts after midnight.
The short version of what it is good for: beach & sun, nightlife, food & wine. If none of those is what the group wants, the honest answer is to pick somewhere else — a city cannot be talked into a vibe it does not have.
Things to do
Boat day on Biscayne Bay.
South Beach club day bed.
Salsa lesson in Little Havana.
Wynwood murals and rooftop bars.
Cuban dinner and a cigar roll.
Late night in South Beach.
Where to eat
Little Havana for Cuban and a cigar roll
A Wynwood rooftop for the sunset slot
Ceviche in Sunset Harbour before the night starts
Where to stay
South Beach to walk everywhere
Brickell for lower rates and better restaurants
A house with a pool if the group is over eight
One good Saturday
Boat day on Biscayne Bay, shower and salsa lesson, dinner at eleven, out after.
That is one anchored plan, not a schedule. Everything either side of it should be left open.
What it costs
$900–$1,500 per person for three nights, before travel.
That covers accommodation, food, drink and one or two paid activities. It does not cover getting there, which is the number that varies most and the one people forget to say out loud.
Split the fixed costs — the house, the one big booking — before anyone arrives. Splitting on the last morning is how group trips end badly.
When to go
Best months: Nov–Apr.
Outside those, expect either weather that changes the plan or prices that change the guest list. Neither is fatal, but both are worth knowing before you commit a date.
Before you book anything
We list these as suggestions, not as bookings, and we do not vet operators. Look up whoever actually runs an activity, read their own reviews rather than an aggregator's, and treat any booking that changes its location by text message as a reason to walk away.
